Be ready for paln-B while booking tour with this company
IThis was genuinely one of the worst travel experiences I have ever faced. I booked the tour through Agoda almost a month in advance for the scheduled date of 27 August 2026. Despite having provided my WhatsApp contact details at the time of booking, Happy Day Tour never contacted me regarding my booking. On the day of the scheduled tour, no one from the company showed up, and I received no prior notification or explanation. I had to request the reception staff at my hotel in Da Lat, Vietnam, to help me contact the tour operator through their local sources. They eventually managed to contact the company and shared my WhatsApp number with them—which was particularly frustrating because I had already provided the same contact information when making the booking. Only then was I informed that the tour had been cancelled because, according to the company, their website had crashed and they were unable to process any tours. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. My entire day—and effectively a valuable day of my vacation—was wasted because of their failure to communicate and properly manage my booking. I had planned my trip in advance, and by the time I learned about the cancellation, other tour operators were already accepting bookings for the following day. As a result, I ended up staying in my hotel room instead of enjoying the planned tour. The company mentioned that they have been in this business for around 10 years and pointed out their excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately, my personal experience was far below even a one-star experience. Technical problems can happen, but failing to inform a customer who has booked nearly one month in advance is simply not acceptable. A timely message or email informing me of the cancellation would at least have given me the opportunity to make alternative arrangements. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Happy Day Tour. I sincerely hope they improve their communication and booking management so that other travellers do not lose a valuable day of their vacation in the same way.
