D.I.Y. Tie and Dye workshop, Jaipur

Tie and Dye activity allows you to have fun while you learn about dying. This activity will help you learn the history of dying and about all the available natural colors. Learn how these colors are made, how many naturals colors are currently available. There are two variants to this product as listed below:

Half-Day Workshop(9:00 am 12:30 pm):

Upon reaching and registering you will receive a bag made of organic cotton which has all the required stuff. It has garments you will be dying and taking back home and natural colors certified by G.O.T.S.

The first activity is to tie your bag or garment and dye it; so that when you open it, it looks beautiful. You will be doing this after the demonstration by a trainer. Then you get a chance to try the different color combinations on the cloth you already dyed and the fabric you bring.

In the end, you take away memories and included dyes pack, cotton garment and many more.

Full-Day Workshop(9:00 am - 3:00 pm)

In a full-day workshop, everything from the Half-day workshop is included and lunch, high-tea, and Block Printing. You can learn about tray making, gum making and you can choose your block to print on the fabric you have.

You cannot miss an opportunity to learn dying techniques when in Jaipur. Upon reaching on registration, you will receive a bag that has all the contents you require. You can select from a variety of colors and garments. The wide range of garments includes dresses, scarfs, table mats, and many more.

After receiving your content, you will start to learn all about natural colors. To help you with that you will be shown videos and PPTs and help you to have a better understanding.

The first activity you do is Dye/Shibori. You get to tie the garment and soak it in the dye. The trained artist will be there to help every participant with the activity. After that, you get a chance to play with colors and choose a perfect color combination for your fabric.

If you have chosen the full-day activity, you can enjoy learning about block printing and doing by yourself. In the end, you take away four natural dyes packs, an organic cotton garment, an organic cotton bag, and a lot of memories.
