First, you will meet your tour guide at Unique Adventure's office and find a mountain bike that fits you. We will then head north out of town along charming back roads through the Siem Reap riverbank. After a short ride, we will reach the local market and discover local foods, which you are welcome to try!
After our market visit, we will cycle through farmland in order to learn about rice cultivation on the living lands community farm. You might even be able to join the locals in rice farming! You will find that rural Cambodians are very friendly and welcoming and are happy to share their experience with you.
After learning about farming, we’ll move on to see the old Buddhist temple known in Cambodia as a Wat. We take time to learn about the Buddhist paintings and relics at the Wat and explore the fascinating story of the antique pagoda. We’ll then have a short break before we continue on to learn about the process of making rice wine. As the last stop on this exhilarating bike tour, we will visit a mushroom farm before returning to Siem Reap city.
