Cultural Trip to the Transylvanian Alps
Summary
We start the tour from your location at 8 in the morning heading to Sinaia. After two hours driving we will stop to visit the monastery in Sinaia were we discover the monastic life in an Orthodox monastery. Next visit is at the Peles Castle, a former summer royal residence, built by the first Romanian King, Carol I-st in the 19-20th centuries. Continue crossing the Carpathian Mountains to Bran on one-hour drive and discover one of the most famous places in the world, the Bran Castle and the legend of Dracula. We can have lunch either in Bran or in Brasov, the place we will drive to explore the remains of the medieval town, the Black Church, Council Tower, Rope Street, Weavers Bastion, St. Nicholas Church and the First Romanian School. We return to Bucharest around 7-8 pm.
