Sensational tour experience
An amazing 11-hour tour visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta! Our guide, Matthew, was passionate, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging, ensuring everyone’s needs were met throughout the day. His personal storytelling made the tunnel experience deeply poignant and memorable. The tour offers unbelievable value for money. We tasted authentic food eaten by resistance fighters in the tunnels and enjoyed a fantastic lunch at the local restaurant, which easily catered to all dietary requirements. The coach ride was beautifully comfortable for the long journey to the Mekong Delta. Even though it tipped down with rain when we arrived, the boat ride across to the village was wonderful, complete with fresh coconuts aboard. We visited a sweet factory, tried some snake wine, and were treated to a lovely Vietnamese song and dance performance before taking the riverboat back to port. A truly amazing experience—huge thanks to our fellow group members for their friendliness, and especially to Matthew for his unbelievable kindness and generosity!

Definitely worthwhile. The tour covers a lot - the Chu Chi tunnels, a visit to crafts place, two boat rides on the Meekong and a Sampan ride, a stop to taste local food and an exposure to coconut candy making.

We had an amazing experience on this tour and can highly recommend it. The Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta were both fascinating, and the itinerary was very well organized. Everything ran smoothly, and the small-group format made the day much more enjoyable. A special thank you to our guide, Matthew. He was excellent – friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing Vietnamese history and culture. He explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and made the whole trip both informative and fun. The transportation was comfortable, the activities were varied, and we especially enjoyed the boat rides, local food tastings, and traditional music. Thanks to Matthew, this was one of the highlights of our time in Vietnam. – Highly recommended!
