CRUISES REGULAR TOURS: Peninsula Valdes

Departure toward Peninsula Valdes, UNESCO World Heritage Site, a privileged wildlife sanctuary. We drive along the Isthmus Carlos Ameghino, a narrow strip of land connecting the peninsula to the continent, from where the Gulfs Nuevo and San Jose can be observed simultaneously. The łrst stop is the Visitor Centre, an introduction to the local fora and fauna. Then we drive to Caleta Valdes, a large inlet home to Southern elephant seals. We continue to the picturesque little town Puerto Piramides to do a City Tour and visit Punta Piramide, a stunning sea-lion rookery. Finally, we drive back to the pier. We may observe Patagonian cavies, guanacos and rhea along the way.
