Adventures begins in Puerto Jimenez, with the departure at the Aventuras Golfo Dulce heading towards San Josecito by motor boat. We will be dragging the kayaks with the motor boat, so is a slow navigation that allows the contemplation of the landscape. During the tour it is possible to observe dolphins turtles, seabirds and more. Once in the camp, you can enjoy the first activity on this side of the gulf, a wonderful expedition to the nearby reef, where it is possible to observe different species of tropical marine fish and other sea life.
Afterwards, we will enjoy a refreshing lunch and a small break. After recovering energies, a beautiful walk is made in the gardens surrounding the primary forest to recognize and collect edible plants and fruits.
Near sunset, another exciting activity recreational fishing tour in the local style (with handline, hooks and hand made lures) while we watch the sunset on the horizon.
Back in the camp, the dinner is prepared collectively using as main ingredients what was collected in the gardens as well as the fish catch of the day.
Finally, at night and for the more adventurous, we have an optional bioluminescence tour on the beach.
The second day begins with a satisfying breakfast, to undertake the last and most exciting adventure of this excursion, to live the experience of crossing the Golfo Dulce in Kayak, a route of 14 km in approximately 4 hours.
Upon arrival at the Golfo Dulce adventure base, we will enjoy a typical Costa Rican farewell lunch.
