Create your own wine - workshop

Combining a visit to the winery, tasting, experimentation and blending, this workshop will make you discover the basic components of the wine, their specificities and their characteristics. During this workshop, you will create your own wine, test your senses and expand your knowledge of terroirs and grape varieties

8.30 am : Meet your guide in Place Stalingrad, between LCL Banque and Wasabi Café

9.30 am : Visit an authentic and charming family-run estate Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. This workshop starts with immersion in the vineyards to understand the winemaker’s daily work. Then you will visit the facilities and the cellar in order to understand how the grape turns into wine. Familiarize yourself with the concept of terroir. Discover the different subtleties of the grape varieties and their aromas. Train yourself in tasting techniques, how to detect the aromas and describe the balance on the palate. Develop your senses through the tasting of 3 red wines.

10.30 am : Create your own wine blend to choose the one you like and take the bottle home !

12.45 am : End of your Saint-Emilion wine tour. Back in Bordeaux
