Cozumel Taco Culture & Beach Break

The adventure will take you on a quick city tour visiting its monuments where you will discover part of the history of Cozumel In which the Europeans arrives for the first time to the island and they discover for the very first time The Corn. Your guide will take trough a delicious adventure to know the metamorphosis of the Poc-Chuc Taco which is part of one of the most delicious, traditional and emblematic Yucatan dishes. Live the experience of living with a local family that opens the doors of their Agro-tourist farm to show you how they live and eat in the countryside surrounded by fruit trees and animals. Learn the secrets of the culinary art of Yucatán cuisine and prepare your own taco with the traditional Poc-Chuc style meat, which is nothing but a juicy pork meat marinated in sour orange, salt, pepper and grill garlic which is accompanied with black beans, red onions and a tomato sauce with habanero fresh made by you on a real molcajete.

We like to share a different experience based on our gastronomical culture that we carry in our blood by ancestral heritage. The Corn it’s a type of food that can be eaten in many ways and for over 9,000 years has served as food for the people of Mexico and Central America. A taco without tortilla is not a taco and it is a tradition to accompany it with chili or sauce and the meat you like the most.
