Corobici Floating Tour at Playa Hermosa

Meet your guide at your hotel for an early morning departure. Head to the banks of the Corobici River in the Tempisque Conservation Area, and hop into a stable raft. Let your guide navigate the Class I and II rapids as you float down the river, keeping your eyes peeled for sightings of wildlife. The region is known as a nesting ground for migrating water birds, like herons, egrets, ibis, roseate spoonbills, and storks. Other wildlife known to populate the area includes howler monkeys, white-faced capuchins, iguanas, and crocodiles. Your guide will help you spot these creatures and learn about their behavior as you go. At the end of your rafting trip, enjoy a typical Costa Rican picnic lunch on the riverbank, including rice, beans, salad, plantains, vegetable stew, and your choice of fish, pork, chicken, or beef. Vegetarian options are also available; advise upon booking. After eating, you will be dropped off back at your hotel. Please note: A minimum of 2 people per booking is required.
