Corcovado National Park Day Tour

Summary

This tour departs by boat from two different spots(check the notes below to know about departure from Terraba-Sierpe Wetlands) the first departure point is from Punta Uvita located at Marino Ballena National Park at 7:00 AM,and arrives approximately 1.5 hour later to San Pedrillo Ranger Station in Corcovado National Park. Our tour guide will bring information about security and a explain of the itinerary. As soon the boat arrives at Corcovado the guide will lead the group to the ranger station where there will be a time to get ready for the hike. On the ranger station there are facilities like toilets and showers. The trails at San Pedrillo station are flat and easy for all types of people however the tropical forest is warm during the dry season ( December to April ) and rainy from May to November . Hicking is on the different trails is about 3.5 hours time After lunch get back the boat start heading back to Uvita beach at 2.30 pm and expected to arrive around 3.30 to 4.00 pm.You may observe whales(if is season July to Octubrer also January to April), dolphins, turtles, marine birds and fantastic views of the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica.
