Coral Sea Dreaming: Overnight Dive, Snorkel and Sail Experience from Cairns

Departing from Cairns Marlin Marina at 8 am, watch the coastline become a far away horizon as you sail off into paradise. Enjoy on board morning tea and the tropical Queensland sun as you cruise towards the first reef site. Before you know it, it is time to get suited up and ready for your first introductory/certified dive or snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef. Our highly skilled instructors will take you below the surface to experience schools of iridescent fish feeding, a lazing turtle snacking on sea grass, myriad of colorful corals and so much more. No two dives are ever the same! As the sun descends for the day, laze on deck and get ready for an exciting night dive experience. We are the proud owners of one of the only 'introductory' night diving licences in Australia so if this is a life time dream and you are not certified. No worries! Coral Sea Dreaming can take you below to witness schools of feeding pelagic's, Parrot fish resting in their sleep bubbles and many more shenanigans of the local sea life that is the Great Barrier Reef. After a full days activities, relax on deck with a cold beverage from the on board bar and tuck into a delicious filling dinner.

As the sun arises for day 2, enjoy your early morning breakfast before diving back into the water to complete another days diving and snorkeling. Visiting a selection of pristine reef locations, enjoy your last few hours on the reef before hoisting the sails to commence the journey back to port, arriving back in Cairns Marlin Marina between 4 and 4.30pm.

With a maximum capacity of 12 passengers on board the “Coral Sea Dreaming,” this is an intimate 2-day tour from Cairns. Combine scuba diving, snorkeling, and sailing led by highly skilled instructors; no prior experience is necessary. Both certified and introductory diving is on offer, with access to stunning snorkeling sites on the Great Barrier Reef.

Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
Minimum 4 years of age for guests
Minimum 12 years of age for introductory day diving activities
Introductory night divers must complete at least one day dive to show competency to on board certified instructor before being able to partake in any night diving activities
All guests must complete an on board medical form prior to completing in water activities. Ticking yes to any of the questions may prevent participation.
The skipper will decide on the best reef locations visited during the tour dependent on tidal and weather conditions
Private cabins are priced as per twin share. Sole use is available at quoted price
$40 per person EMC is payable on board for the tour. This covers all reef taxes, port and fuel levies

You can book and pay for diving on our website or on-board the boat, so no need to decide now what dives you would like to do. No experience is required however a medical must be completed by all snorkelers and divers before participating in these activities. This will be sent through to you with your booking confirmation (Certain medical conditions eg asthma and diabetes may preclude a person from diving only – please book a recreational dive medical for clearance of these conditions prior to boarding at Cairns 24 hour Medical Centre) See medical questionnaire below, to be completed on-board. If you answer yes to any items here (excluding 22 & 24) and intend to scuba dive please complete a recreational dive medical. Snorkeling is unlimited and all our sites are close to the reef and safe with minimal currents. All dive and snorkel equipment is included in the tour cost as well as all meals, snacks, linen etc. This tour is not suitable for people with mobility issues or non-swimmers or children under the age of 4 years.
