Copenhagen Highlights and Christiansborg Palace

Disembark your cruise ship and meet your private guide by the main gate 30 minutes after docking. Board a private tour vehicle and head into the city, listening to your guide/driver's engaging commentary on the way. 

Stop by the Little Mermaid Statue and Amalienborg Castle, home to the Danish Royal Family, for photos before heading on to Tivoli Gardens. See the Town Hall Square, the city's beating heart, on the way to Christiansborg Palace.

Learn about the three branches of the Danish government: the Supreme Court, the Prime Minster's Offices, and the Parliament, all housed here in the palace. Inside the palace, walk the halls and see the Royal Reception Rooms and the Great Hall, filled with tapestries. 

Outside the palace, stroll down Stroget, Copenhagen's busiest pedestrian street. Stroll past the shops and restaurants to see the Kongens Nytorv public square and the 17th-century canals of Nyhavn. 

Return to the cruise port at the end of your tour for drop-off.
