Worth it
This was a lovely tour of Connemara from Galway. Mike, the bus driver/guide, was a fount of knowledge about the nature of the bogs and mountains in Connemara, as well as local history. Besides the destinations, we had a few other scenic stops, including Clifden. I liked the generous time (3 hours) at your choice of two destinations: Kylemore Abbey or Diamond Hill. My original intent was to hike the hill, but I caught a chest cold and injured my wrist and ended up choosing Kylemore as we headed to the destinations. Even there, I had to opportunity to hike 4-5 miles, though it was much more flat. Everything was scenic and gorgeous. Thanks, Wild Atlantic Way and Mike!
Small, jam packed bus.. no thank you
Crowded small bus... aborted before the day even started. A few days prior, I asked a few questions via email of the tour company prior to departure (have gluten free meal requirements) and got a brief (almost dismissive) response. Boarded the bus, which was packed and hot and made me claustrophobic, and the driver looked really uninterested.... so I opted to NOT take this tour and waste a precious vacation day in Galway with this group. Took a different tour earlier in the week with Lally Tours and it was exceptional. Glad I didn't take this trip!
Pure nature
With this tour you experienced Connemara. You have to take nature as it comes with rain and wind, but that is part of the experience.
I loved my time on this...
I loved my time on this tour. The stop we made by the lake with sheep on the sides was one of my favorites of the whole trip. I also appreciated our tour guide for helping us choose between the park and the abbey, which was one of my biggest questions getting on the bus. Great views and stops along the way, and well timed at each.

It was very educational. Vincent the driver told beautiful but also funny stories. He was also very caring and made sure that everyone was back on the bus
