Connemara Coastal Kayaking Adventure

My guide was amazing! Being in the cove, with the wild Atlantic at our mouth, was quite exhilarating! A baby seal followed us pretty closely, and kept peeking at us for attention, like a little puppy! We had inclement weather, that developed while we were on the water, with lots of current, and yet our guide knew what to do without cutting our tour short. I would definitely do again!!

We’ve done a few kayak excursions in the past but this one was the most low key, calm and flawless. Dave was our guide, thorough, thoughtful and educated on the sea life and surrounding areas. Wetsuits (very well used) shoes and life vests provided. Bathroom and very open changing rooms available down at the beach too. We saw multiple curious seals, so that was fun lil surprise. The water and weather were beautiful as well. Wish I would’ve remembered a waterproof phone case so we could’ve documented/photographed our outing, but Dave did provide a few photos and videos on what’s app for us. Fun day, thanks!

Dave was an excellent guide who accommodated all abilities and ages seemlessly and safely. I loved him pointing out the different seaweeds, the hares racing on the beach, the seals he spotted and explaining why Connemara's sands are white. I felt "in" the view not looking at the view and the colours out on the water were wonderful. There could have been a personal email explaining about kit perhaps and timings but this was amazing for me. Thank you Dave.

Our guide was amazing! He took time to show us sea plants and animals. Very knowledgeable and so cool!! It was beautiful scenery and the kayak was easy to navigate.
