This tour is conveniently offered in both the morning and afternoon. Start with hotel pickup or any central Portland location.
Enjoy a scenic drive along Highway 84, stopping at the Bonneville Lock and Dam to view the fish ladder and its most famous local resident: Herman, a 10-foot sturgeon. Continue on the Historic Columbia River Highway in search of many large and small waterfalls along the route.
At Horsetail Falls and Multnomah Falls, which is the highest continuously flowing waterfall in the country, stop and enjoy the scenery. You have time here for a short hike to Simon Benson Bridge before continuing on to Shepperds Dell Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Latourell Falls, where your guide leads you on another short hike.
The final part of the tour includes a visit to Crown Point Vista House for sweeping views of the Columbia River Gorge for great photo ops before returning to your departure point.
