Best Tour of Colosseum- warning you will be spoiled

We had an amazing time on our tour of the colosseum. We booked a semiprivate tour with 3 in our party and we were joined by another couple. The personal attention was great. I am so spoiled now & don’t think I can ever do a large group tour again. Our guide Giovanni was informative and engaging. He made the history of the site fun. Don’t hesitate- book this tour, you’ll be glad that you did!

Probably an outlier

This was probably just an off day for the tour guide. He was in his early 20s, he was absolutely hungover from the night before. He was knowledgeable but his demeanor was lackadaisical. We booked a small group tour. There were about 4 other couples in this tour. He seemed to be hitting on everyone’s wife. Two couples left the tour early. The sites were great the guide was not. Still book a small group tour just know the tour guides can really influence the overall experience
