Be ready for pickup at your hotel in Port of Spain around 9am; alternatively, you'll be directed to a central meeting place. Meet your guide and group and climb into a tour vehicle bound for Trinidad's north coast, one of the Caribbean's most scenic drives.
Listen to your guide's commentary and take in views of the Paramin Hills, dotted with plantations growing spices and herbs. Pass through the rainforest and emerge at the Maracas Lookout, where you can snap photos of the surrounding bays.
Hit up Maracas Bay, one of the island's most popular beaches, free of high-rise hotels and lined with swaying palm trees. Refuel with a local lunch (own expense) before continuing to Las Cuevas Bay. Take a walk and a dip in the ocean, then depart for Marianne River in Blanchisseuse. Go for one last swim in the natural lagoon before heading back to your Port of Spain hotel in the early evening.
