Coach Day Tour - Jinshanling Great Wall Hiking Tour

Wait in your Beijing hotel for early morning pickup. When your group is on board, you’ll travel away from the capital to the Jinshanling Great Wall in Luanping county, Hebei Province. A light breakfast is provided onboard. As you travel, learn about the section of the wall, which is said to be one of the best preserved parts of the Great Wall of China. Here about Jinshanling’s construction during the Ming dynasty, and the later reconstructions that turned it into a military defense project, complete with beacon towers, passes, and watchtowers. Later in the morning, you’ll arrive at Jinshanling to enjoy a generous amount of time at the site, soaking up the views that stretch out toward Beijing. Most people choose to visit between five and eight of the watchtowers, although you can walk for as long as you want during the time available. Meet back at the coach at the agreed time, and travel to a nearby restaurant for lunch. Then, relax on your journey back to Beijing. Your day trip ends with a drop-off at a subway station in the east of the city.
