Dear traveller, you will be climbing Le Pouce Mountain. It it the third highest (812m above sea level) mountain in Mauritius. The climbing is an easy one and good for beginners of mountaineering activity. During this trip 90% of it is about walking and the rest of 10% is climbing to its summit. You have to wear a good pair of shoes, wear some sport clothes or any cloth you find yourself comfortable for the walk/climb. Bring your own water and food stuff. Caps, sunglasses, and mosquito repellant may be also useful for hiking activities.
At the summit a great view all around the island can be seen. As this mountain is found on the central part of Mauritius, over 75% of the island can be clearly seen. However you may also have the good views as we start the climbing.
