Amazing trip
You see beautiful Irish countryside and the Atlantic ocean. The wild natural cliffs of Mother are amazing to see. Jonathan our driver/tour guide was the best . His knowledge of Irish history beginning before thousands of years was impelling and educational. And Jonathan also has a great singing voice and regailed us with a couple of Irish traditional songs. Great trip!
Good but not great
Overall a positive experience due to the beauty of the places and the quality of the local food (not included in the tour price). However, some elements, described below, partially undermined the serenity of the trip. 1) Although the bus seemed relatively new, the outlets for charging mobile devices were not always working and the fluorescent lights would turn on unpredictably and were very annoying. The driver, Finn, simply said that the situation was beyond his control. 2) While I believe it is right that in an organized tour there are common schedules to respect, the driver constantly threatened (quite explicitly) that he would leave behind anyone who did not show up on time at the various departure points. In particular, this was a problem during the lunch break, where the time it took to prepare the dishes was not compatible with the time imposed on us by the driver. 3) Although the driver always provided a lot of information about the places visited and Irish culture, a little more time could have been dedicated to visiting the cliffs. Meanwhile, regarding the stop in the city of Galway, we received scarce logistical information. In any case, I would feel comfortable recommending the experience, and I hope that my feedback can serve to improve the general quality of the service
Cliffs of Moher and Burren.
It was a great trip. Our guide Derrick was funny, engaging and knowledgeable. After the Cliffs and Burren, we stopped at the local tavern for lunch and the food was excellent. Definitely recommend this trip.
Had a wonderful time!
My friend and I went to the cliffs during a 2 and half day trip to Dublin and it was worth it! We spent an hour and 15 at the Cliffs of Moher, about 20 minutes at a set of smaller cliffs, and then about an hour or so in Galway and it was wonderful! Would definitely recommend! Do bring good walking shoes, lots of water and some snacks!
