Strap into an air-conditioned vehicle that will shuttle you to the bay where your boat promptly departs. Brace yourself for a journey to Cleopatra Island, where it is said the Egyptian queen bathed with Mark Anthony in the 2nd century BC. The sands on the island are a kind of smooth small shells typically only found at the Red Sea. Rumore has it Mark Anthony had them sent to this island for Cleopatra’s pleasure.
