Good to know
- Kindly note that the bus will drop you off in La Spezia or Manarola. Then you will move from one village to the other by train and boat. You will meet again your bus by the end of the day to make your way back to Montecatini
- Kindly note that the Cinque Terre A/R Escorted Transfer option does not include train and boat tickets. At the beginning of the day, you will be dropped off at La Spezia, and you will have free time for the whole day in the Cinque Terre National Park. You will meet again your bus at La Spezia Centrale in the afternoon. This option only includes a roundtrip transportation by GT coach to the Cinque Terre and back as well as live commentary during the bus trip.
- Please note that the boat ride will be available from April 1st until October 31st
- English and Spanish languages are always guaranteed. In order to confirm the excursion in French, German, Italian or Portuguese a minimum of 4 pax is required
- In the case of bad weather or rough sea, the boat between Monterosso and Riomaggiore will not operate. In this case, the boat will be replaced by a train route

Be careful which train ticket you get
This is just for the out and return coach to Spezi if you don’t take the escorted option. Don’t go to the place they send you with a google option for the pick up it is in fact below the clock tower over at the bus station. The villages are very pretty like Amalfi but smaller . Be careful you are told you can get a train ticket to the last station and jump on and off this is incorrect you need to get a day pass from the ticket office as this option is not on ticket machine. If you don’t you have to pay for each section at each stop you get off and on at or get 50 euro fine as we did as we were told just get return to Montebosso by the guide which was incorrect.
The tour was very well...
The tour was very well organised. The guides who looked after us were excellent. Always on hand, answered all our questions. Gave us many heads up on what was coming and what to do. They had so much local knowledge. The villages really are a must see item in the area. We would highly recommend this tour.
Fab day
The tour was well organised and Cecilia managed the day events well, once again friendly (she guided a tour I had been on earlier in the week) and helpful. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and it was nice to visit such beautiful parts of Italy. I was surprised at how much time we got in each village.
Don’t miss the Cinque terra- fabulous
Great way to simplify visiting cinque terra - at the station ready to hop on to your chosen destination. We chose to go our own way rather than with the tour guide. Five minutes between each place was fabulous. One day is not enough to visit all 5. Research and see which three you fancy is my advice.
