After pickup from your hotel in Ocho Rios, travel to the launch site for your tubing adventure on the White River. At the Spanish Bridge, a landmark dating from the 1600s, meet your adventure guides and receive a short safety briefing, along with a tube, paddle, and life jacket. Launch your tube and follow your experienced guides on a 3-mile (4.8-km) journey down Jamaica's White River, which runs through Ocho Rios' hilly interior. This beautiful river is the line of demarcation between Jamaica's St. Ann and St. Mary parishes. Bump and splash down the river's rapids and enjoy peacefully floating through the calm sections. When you reach the White River Valley Park, climb ashore and stroll around the landscaped gardens. Purchase a traditional Jamaican jerk lunch or some liquid refreshments at the Parrot Bar.
