Chichen Itza, Cenote, and Valladolid Tour

Overall, the company had excellent communication. They kept me updated until pickup. The coach bus was clean, comfortable, and had good AC. Be prepared for a very long day. I was on the tour for about 12 hours, with approximately 5–6 hours spent on the coach. Our guide, Rafa, provided a lot of information about Mayan history (2hrs straight talking) during the ride, which was interesting but made it difficult to sleep. One important thing to know: the $58 you pay through Viator/Tripadvisor covers the round-trip coach transportation and guided tour and buffet (not including drinks) ONLY. To enter Chichen Itza there is an additional $47, to swim in the Cenote $10 rental fee for a life-jacket and $8 for a locker. The lunch was delicious and included a nice variety of authentic Mexican food. Also, I paid $6 for a bottle of coke. Bring something to drink from the previous stop. Chichen Itza is extremely hot, and there is a lot of walking over dirt, rocks, and gravel, so comfortable shoes are a must. Shade and seating are VERY limited, and you should expect vendors approaching you with merchandise. ***I feel like the tour can be a lot shorter*** 🚨 MUST-HAVE ITEMS Breathable athletic clothing Comfortable walking/athletic shoes Hat and sunglasses Sunscreen Bug spray Portable fan Umbrella Bottled water Light jacket for the cold coach Neck pillow for the long ride My biggest advice: prepare for the heat, walking, long bus ride, and additional costs. If you come prepared, you'll have a much more comfortable experience!

Chichén Itza and the Cenote are beautiful. Best for you if you want to pay 10x prices for the same Souviners you could buy at Chichén Itza or any market locally

It’s best to do this trip with company, but I did enjoy the tour. Be sure to walk with sunscreen and WATER!!! The cenote wasn’t to best but it was ok. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining

Lovely tour & highly recommend for the price. The staff at each destination was wonderful, especially our tour guides Rafael & Hugo. I just wish there was more time to explore the city at the last stop.

Great experience with Rafa & Hugo. All the package was worth it 100% and would go back!!
