Description: Pay a visit to one of the most iconic and lush cloud forests around Bogotá with an expert bird guide that will help you identify more than 40 bird species including colorful tanagers, hummingbirds, warblers, flycatchers and toucanets.
Difficulty: The terrain is made of stone pathways that can be slippery when wet and often involve steep inclines. We are able to adapt the tour for non-hikers with 4x4 transportation within the park.
Accessibility: This tour is for all ages. We can arrange a customized tour should you have limited mobility or a visual/hearing impairment.
Duration: The total tour time is 8 hours from start to finish with 4 hours of birdwatching time. Additional hours can be added at an extra cost. We also offer overnight itineraries.
Location: 2 hours south-west of our meeting point.
Elevation: It ranges from 2400 to 2700 m.a.s.l.
Weather: Temperatures range between 10ºC and 15ºC. About 30% of the time we experience light rain and about 10% of the time we see heavy rain.
