Fantastic e-bike ride and tour around florence

Alessio was a fantastic guide and ride leader. Always anticipating any challenges we may have had w the riding, guiding us on a wonderful tour through the Tuscan hills outside Florence and back, answering our questions and always keeping our safety first. My best experience in Italy thus far, in my week here in this gorgeous country!

Very hard ride even with...

Very hard ride even with e-bike. Need to be experienced rider. Only one wine tasting. The 2nd is actually only a bar w wine No water or bathroom breaks until lunch. Felt like we should have a tour guide in front and back of group for chains off etc.

Great Tour via eBike

Francesco was fantastic and the trip was beyond words. VERY well worth it during the 23 mile ride! Would do this again!!

This ride is is 26 miles/40 km

The views on the tour were beautiful however if you are not at least 5 foot 5”, then using these bikes will be extremely challenging for you to safely maneuver through the challenging city streets and narrow country roads. The bikes are not meant to accommodate shorter adults and I was unable to stop the bike safely as a result. The description of this tour does not truly explain how physically fit you need to be to complete the ride, my friend and I were truly humbled. Ensure you wear athletic clothing, comfortable athletic shoes (that have potential to get dirty with bike grease), and prepare for a long day. I recommend a backpack to carry your own water bottle. The tour guide Alessio was very kind and patient and knowledgeable of the area and provided Awesome historical facts. However, it was easy at some points to get lost as he Often sped ahead without ensuring the group was close behind him. The lunch was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed the wine and olive oil. The second wine stop is back in Florence, which was disappointing as we thought it would be a second winery in Chianti (will say the fruit provided at the stop was a refreshing touch at the end of an exhausting ride!). This ride is 26 miles or 40 km, my friend and I were not aware of that information prior to the tour. Also be prepared the tour may be longer than 6 hours.
