Beautiful countryside, enjoyable wine tastings!
This tour gave us an overview of the beautiful, picturesque Tuscan countryside, as well as a few of its small towns. The two wineries that we visited were very informative about their wines and the region, plus the people leading the wine tastings were friendly. Niccola was our tour guide, and he was very passionate about the history of the area as well as the wines. He gave us unique educational information about the region and its wines, and we enjoyed his tour very much. I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see beautiful countryside and taste enjoyable wines at two different wineries.
Meh experience
Although we enjoyed the scenery and stops throughout the trip, the experience was lacking in our opinion. The time spent in San Giminiano was not enough for how amazing the town was. We were only able to spend 1 hour total including the 10 minute trek from the bus (one-way). So realistically, only 40 to spend within the actual town itself. The wineries themselves were good. We liked that we got to visit both a smaller winery as well as a more renowned winery. However, the experience was lackluster. The only thing we were able to do there were taste a limited selection of wine and eat some antipasto. We were incredibly disappointed to not have been given an opportunity to tour the vineyards or shown the process to make the wine from vine to barrel to ship. Our tour guides, although funny, were little more than chaperones. We liked that the tour group was small and a little bit more intimate but we likely won’t book a half day tour again.

It was an excellent experience. We really liked our tour guy Leonardo. We all really enjoyed the wineries and the Tuscany landscapes

Lovely, easy, fun, good price. Our tour guide and driver were excellent! We book day before tour and had never been to the Tuscany area before. Great job!
Excellent excursion
An excellent excursion. Good scenery, the 2 wine tastings were good, and the visit to Monteriggioni is very beautiful. Marta is a super friendly guide and explains many interesting things. Our driver Coli is very kind!
