The owners of the...
The vineyard owners were real gems! We enjoyed our time at their place. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a guided tour was not one. On one hand, we couldn't hear well on the bus, so it was very difficult to follow any explanation. Then, we didn't visit anything on-site, not even the cellars mentioned in the description. It was a direct entry into the reception halls. Without the passion and the warm welcome, the experience would have been a failure. Thanks to them! It should be noted that the city tour is more or less 1 hour, which is very little even for an activity that was supposed to last 5 hours in total. Perhaps doing only one vineyard would have been enough to have a little more time to discover the city.
Very convivial moment...
Very convivial moment during the tastings at the two vineyards, where we were very well received with local food and explanations from the owners. Very quick stop in San Gimignano in less than an hour allows just enough time to take some superb photos and leave again. Normal, however, for a half-day activity. Superb Tuscan landscapes. The guide's explanations were clear. Worth it, good experience-to-price ratio.
Half day Chianti Wine Tour & Gimignano
If given the opportunity to do this half day tour you won’t be disappointed. Beautiful scenery and Emma the guide that was extremely informative and Luciano drove very professionally. Wineries were well set up and very welcoming and informative.
Understand that the Tour meeting place is not in Florence
The initial meeting place is NOT in Florence. It is 1/2 hour outside of Florence which cost a 45 euro cab ride.

This experience was the highlight of our stay in Florence. We didn't expect sit-down tastings at both wineries with aperitivo style plates. Not only was fun but a learning experience! Tuscany views are incredible and St Gimignano is a quaint, beautiful and charming village.
