Informative and great value tour
Informative tour and Mark was very entertaining. Mark expressed a genuine knowledge of Charleston’s history and culture. The walking tour through various alleyways provided a unique perspective. Great value tour as compared to many Charleston tours.
Great tour (and great value too!)
Thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour through the streets and alleys of downtown and south Charleston! Our tour guide, Mark, was outstanding with his extensive historical knowledge and personal experiences to enlighten us (with a keen since of humor) about many unique facts about Charleston from its inception through the Revolutionary and Civil Wars and up to today! He shared all of his knowledge of cultural, historical, plus architectural insights that we’d never known before - despite our several visits here and several other tours we’ve previously taken. We would definitely recommend this tour and hopefully you’ll get Mark as your guide!
Very knowledgeable tour guide!
Our tour guide Evans clearly loves his job and has incredible knowledge of the history of Charleston, as well as the current goings-on of the historical real estate downtown Charleston! We did the 9:30am tour, and fortunately it was mostly shaded, but still VERY hot! But still glad we did it; certainly would not have discovered the plethora of historical facts ourselves. Thanks Evans!
