You’ll also get up close and stand in the very best spots to watch the world famous Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Here you’ll get fantastic photos as your guide explains the history and traditions behind this famous ceremony whilst taking you through the step-by-step ceremony process as you watch the Queen's Foot Guards, the Household Cavalry and the Regimental Musical Bands march towards the Palace in one of the most inspiring & traditional British events in all its pomp & pageantry.

The Changing of the Guard ceremony and/or schedule can be altered or cancelled at the discretion of the British Army for any reason including due to inclement weather (e.g. rain). This can happen at any time up to the last minute and after this tour has begun. This is entirely outside of our control. In the unlikely event this occurs we will enjoy an extended tour of Westminster instead.
Due to the unavoidable steps involved, this tour is not recommended for travelers with walking difficulties or wheelchairs.
