Due to strict constraints on the number of daily visitors allowed inside, this is one of the hardest tickets to secure in Paris. Meeting outside of the entrance of the Catacombs, your guide will provide you with a headset and a brief explanation of the history of the Catacombs. We will then descend the 137 steps to begin the tour, which lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Throughout the duration of the tour, you will have the opportunity to take pictures and ask questions as your guide summarizes the Catacombs' onset, their transition into a modern cemetery, and their appeal today. At the exit, there are 87 steps, so unfortunately, this activity is not suitable for guests in wheelchairs.
Please note that restrooms and coat checks are not available, and the temperature underground is typically 14°C/57°F. Anyone susceptible to claustrophobia or cardiac or respiratory weakness are strongly discouraged to visit the Catacombs. In addition, children are not advised to participate in this tour. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure your skip-the-line access. We guarantee groups of 20 guests or less.

Is there a reduced price for kids/students/infants/seniors?
Unfortunately, the Catacombs does not offer reduced rate entrance tickets so all visitors must pay the same rate. However, infants (ages 0 - 3) are free of cost on all tours.
