Castles & Wine Tour

This is a real throw-back in time and a unique experience that you'll keep with you forever.

What was once upon the battle grounds is now beautiful wine country and the only evidence of these tough medieval times are the beautiful fortified castles, churches and villages that stand amidst vineyards and splendor about a rugget but proud past.

Begin your day with a visit to a small but quite unique wine cellar. Traveling by air-conditioned coach, enjoy magnificent scenery as you journey to Hrastovlje’s Romanesque Church of the Holy Trinity followed by a tasting of some of the local specialties. Proceed towards Socerb and Predjama castles and last home. Take a guided interior tour of the Predjama castle, and hear stories about ‘Slovenian Robin Hood’ who lived in the castle.

Continue your journey to one of the most famous Wine Estates of the region where we do a tour of vineyards & cellar with the wine makers and get to taste some of the greatest wines the region has to offer.

Our tour lasts approx. 7 to 7,5 hours, and involves some walking, so be sure to bring comfortable footwear.
Your guide will stay with you throughout the tour, and you can make requests about any special dietary requirements such as any food allergies or foods you prefer to avoid eating.
