Your tour starts with hotel pickup inside central Rome for the drive in a private vehicle to the Pontifical Villas of Castel Gandolfo.
As you approach, admire the mix of baroque and medieval architecture, and then hop on your personal golf cart with your guide for the ride around the vast Barberini Gardens. Head up to the top of the Alban Hills for views of the countryside outside Rome, and then visit the Papal Farm, where you can see cows, sheep, and chickens.
Next, return to the palace to tour the papal summer residence, which was named a museum by Pope Francis. One of the main points of interest is the Music Room, typically closed to visitors. Then finish your experience with a lunch of Roman or other Italian food at a location overlooking Lake Albano. After eating, your tour ends with the drive back to Rome for hotel drop-off.
