Cappadocia Adventure: 2-Day Tour with Cave Hotel Stay

Not very excited. Too pricey for the Baloon ride. Didn't follow the route described in the tour. When we travelled to Cappadocia, the driver was tired I suppose( I don't want to think was drunk), because he was closing the eyes, opening again, driving chaotic on the mountain roads, I was praying myself thinking that this will be my last ride, honestly. And everything was resumed at ...money as well.

We were informed and picked up on time. After meeting with the rest of the group we hit the road - two buses. It was a long drive but we stopped enough for coffee/cigaretes/toilet.The first day wr had an option to buy breakfast of eat your own. The lunches for both days you could book with your guide. Possible to pay with the card (the second day, for first day I am not sure). We stopped for the program as written in the description. Just enough time for every part of the program. It was like in the fairtale. Got to see it. You got few options for activities in the evening. We chose quad bikes, which included riding them and watching sunset. We came to cave hotel for dinner so exhausted after full day of memorable activities. I recommed it! For the second day the girls chose hot air baloon ride and father -chasing the baloons with jeep. Go for it! Must do experience. The pilot was experinced, so we were just enjoying the marvelous view of Capadoccia. They drove us back to hotel for breakfast and after we hit the road again. We visited onyx and spice shop. Got some new information and shop. The guides -our was Erhan - and other two for Russian group were so positive, willing to help and made things understantable for us. Special thanks should go to our driver Atila who drove us safely and in good mood on such a long journey.

Well worth the money .the trip is long but so worth it once at cappadocia omg its beautiful a sight to see so different i walk with a stick and this trip is doable because you look at the sites the coach takes you right up and close to most of the sites.the cave hotel that we stayed in overnight was quaint clean and just so lovely .our quide was amazing so a kind gentleman with a great love and knowledge of his country the balloon were amazing choose to few them rather than ride in one early start to the day had to leave at 0335 her to go and see them but amazing. The only negative thing about the trip is the coach was a smaller coach than most and if on the larger or taller size not so comfortable and the mini bus pickups are even smaller with no leg room in the back seats the money we paid was 35€ each worked out about £60 for the two of us how they do it I don’t know includes trip hotel stay dinner and breakfast at hotel you pay to see ballon €30 each and you r lunches out if you want them just amazing.

I really enjoyed the Cappadocia tour! At the beginning I was a bit worried because this tours had some bad reviews. But honestly, I really don’t understand them. The guides were super friendly and never rushed us. My guide, Ehran, seems like a genuinely good person. He explained everything very well, always in a good mood, and at no moment did he push us to buy or do anything. To the people who say they saw very little: if someone wants to see Cappadocia in detail, they shouldn’t book a 2-day tour when the starting point is very far and a lot of time is spent on the bus. Who realistically thinks they will see everything in just a few hours there? For the time we had, I think we saw more than enough. Everything was beautiful and pleasant, and Ehran let us enjoy each place without rushing. For those who complain about the hotels: the tour costs around €30–40 for so many kilometers and long distances. It includes one night at a hotel with dinner and breakfast. Who expects a luxury hotel for that price? The hotel was good and more than enough for just one night. I’m very happy I chose this tour. Very well organized. Thank you!

This is not worth the time or money. We were picked up from our hotel by an air conditioned mini bus and after making other pickups at different hotels were taken to a Service Area to join the main coach. We had a 1 hour wait here - why? Neither the microphone nor air conditioning was working on the coach. Guide did not introduce himself or the driver. The driver was either on drugs or extremely ill - kept rubbing his chest and neck. Also his right leg was constantly shaking up and down or to and fro. His driving was also very erratic. When we returned to the coach after a quick visit to the underground city he was fast asleep and had to be woken. The guide never informed us about the lift at the lunch break restaurant and when we asked him why he just laughed. At the hotel my granddaughter and her friend were allocated a nice room up approx. 6 or 7 steps whereas my wife and I were given a room up approx. 14 steps. When I complained the guide told me I had booked a Cave Room. The invoice does not mention a "Cave Room" - it just states accommodation included. Upon returning to Alanya the guide informed us that we were on mini bus number 3. This then changed to mini bus number 4, and finally to mini bus number 5. This was another example of the poor organisation we experienced throughout this trip. On a good note the Fairy Chimneys are well worth a visit. Just not with these people.
