Canyoning in Madeira Island

Begin your canyoning experience with pickup from your hotel. Remember to pack your swimsuit and towel, as you head immediately to Funchal’s Ecological Park, in the south of the island.

The tour is intended for first-time canyoners, and in your small group receive support and guidance from your certificated guides. Strap into your canyoning boots and pull on your wet-suit, then swim, scramble, jump, and abseil your way along the accessible route, conquering many natural obstacles along the way, including a 15-meter rock face. Encounter the native flora and fauna of the region, pose for in-tour snaps, and re-energize with complimentary chocolate and water.
