Camping Amidst Tea Plantations in Wayanad - BBQ Included

A peaceful and calm town in the north of Kerala is praiseworthy because of its natural beauty, sheer greenery, and heavenly weather. The town attracts thousands for photography, camping, nature walk, hiking, etc. every day to make a perfect getaway.

Famous for Edakkal Caves, Soochipara Waterfalls, Kuruvadweep, Banasura Sagar Dam and the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, this town in Kerela is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna and especially tea plantations. At such a location, camping is the best way to experience nature at its best.

Day 1 - Arrive at Wayanad camp.

04.00 pm - Check-in to the Wayanad campsite.

05:00 pm - Activities at and around the site.

07:00 pm - BBQ which will be common for everyone to enjoy.

08:30 pm - Enjoy your delicious dinner cooked by the local Wayanad chef.

09:30 pm - Sleep tight into the tents amidst nature in Wayanad.

Day 2 - Check-out with memories.

07.30 am - Wake up to an amazing morning.

09.00 am - Breakfast will be served in a local Wyanad style.

09.30 am - You can take part in the many activities that you have chosen.

11.00 am - Checkout and bring the experience to an end.

The location of the campsite allows one to explore open sky for stars and relax you away from the hustle-bustle. While being here, you can camp inside sprawling greens of tea plantation and relax in one of the most scenic views in Wayanad.

The stay is marked with 8 double sharing tents, 4 triple sharing tents and 1 camp that can be shared by 4 at a time. The campsite can accommodate 32 people at a time.

The activities that can be undertaken in the campsite include a campfire, stargazing and comfortable camping. Along with that, you can spend the whole night while playing games with some light music around.

The campsite is located at a distinct location which is 7 km from Kalpetta and can be reached by a private or shared vehicle as public transportation will not help you in reaching here.

This experience is only available on weekends.
