Camel ride in timanfaya national park

The camel ride is one of the most popular activities on the island and doing it in an environment as spectacular as that of the Timanfaya National Park becomes an experience.

With this excursion you can enjoy a pleasant ride on the back of one of the most resistant animals in the world, which allows it to adapt without problems to the climate and geography of Lanzarote. The tour lasts about 25 minutes and runs along a path defined in the lunar landscape of Timanfaya. You will see that camels, actually dromedaries, are very well cared for, have a life expectancy of about 45 years and have been domesticated for thousands of years.

In addition to the walk, near the beginning of the route there is a rest area with a museum dedicated to camels and an information point. This is an especially fun activity for children and families.
