Camel & Hike Atlas Mountains

Atlas Mountains and Imlil valley day trip are one of the most spectacular day trips from Marrakech. Then, if you desire to get out of the city and delve into the authentic and rural side of Morocco.

We will start our day out at 09 am from Marrakech by a 4WD vehicle or minivan for 1.30hr drive south up the Moulay Brahim Gorges. And the Berber village of Asni very popular for its weekly market every Saturday then to Ait Mizan valley. Imlil is a small village at the foothills of the highest mountains in Morocco Jbel Toubkal.

Imlil is the center to hire mountain guides and mules due to its unique position. And its connection to several Berber villages and a very popular start point for treks and hikes for climbing Toubkal mountain.

Arrival to Imlil here we shall leave our vehicle to start our walk towards the south to the Berber village of Aroumd (1843m) set in the upper level foothills of the Western High Atlas mountains. a main trailhead with streams and paths branching out in all directions to get our lunch which will be served in a luxury Riad in the village.

Afterward, back to the transport to go backto Marrakech, in the way toMarrakech you will stop for a camel ride tour, then back to the city.

End of our services

- Our Driver will meet you at the departure point at 9am,

- Option to stop in a Female Argan oil Cooperative in the route to the Atlas Mountains

- Arrival to Imlil valley at 10.40 am 

- Mint Tea in the centre of the town 

- Start Your trek up to the waterfalls

- walk around the Berber Villages

- Lunch in a local restaurant

- At 3 pm pick up you from the restaurant and drive back to Marrakech

- Stop for 1hr Camel Ride in the Moulay Brahim Gorges

- Back to Marrakech at 5pm
