Why take this tour?
Let’s walk around in the 7th District Jewish Quarter of Budapest. You will learn about the rich history of the Hungarian Jewish Community. We also show you the changes that took place in the district since the 1990s and that how it has become the bohemian quarter of the city regaining slowly-slowly its old character as well. On this tour we visit the three historical synagogues: the Dohàny street, the Kazinczy street Ortodox Synagogue and even the Rumbach Street Synagogue. We even take you down to the Shoes on the Danube Memorial near the Parliament. We won't miss to taste our special and traditional Hungarian Jewish pastry.

My passion & love to my hometown comes from my childhood and especially from my parents who always raised my attention to the smallest details on buildings wherever we went – whether in Budapest or on our holiday travels. Later I went to a tourism-specialised bilingual secondary school where I later took my tour guiding exams as well and got my license by the end of the studies. At Eötvös Loránd University I studied art history and during my studies I soon realised that this is what this is what I want to do for the rest of my life: to show everybody how unbelievably beautiful and rich architectural details decorates this wonderful city!
