Bucerias Cultural Day Tour: Local Artisans, Handcrafts and Mexican Lunch

Gain an appreciation of the vibrant cultural diversity within Bucerías on this half-day cultural tour. Meet and engage with families of local artisans on this immersion experience, the tour fees of which are channeled directly back into Bucerías. Your guide is part of an organization with close ties to the community that welcomes travelers such as yourself to learn about its heritage.

During the tour, meet three different families, the last one of whom provides you with a delicious, traditional Mexican lunch. Along the way, chat with artisans and small business owners, ranging from bakers to indigenous textile weavers to hammock-makers, and more.

Through translated conversations, hear their stories and gain deeper insight into their culture, livelihoods and artisanal crafts. Try your hand at some the trades, such as painting and weaving.
