Description

Take to the skies for a Champagne Balloon Flight, locations TBC. Fly in a mass ascent with over 50-60 hot air balloons at the Bristol International Balloon Festival 12-15th August 2021.

Due to the latest government announcement and the delay of fully easing lockdown, it is too much of a risk for the Bristol Balloon Fiesta to be organising a full scale event. The Fiesta is instead organising mass launches over the same weekend from different locations in Bristol, so our balloon flights will still go ahead over this weekend, weather permitting, but in a different format than a normal year.

Dawn and Sunset Champagne Balloon Flights. Enjoy fabulous scenery floating effortlessly over the beautiful city of Bristol taking in the sites of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Queens Square and other famous landmarks. Balloon rides take place at dawn or dusk with the whole experience lasting 3-4 hours, balloon flights are weather dependent.

Bailey Balloons offers Champagne balloon rides from stunning locations in Bristol, Bath, South Wales, Somerset, Wiltshire, Devon & Cornwall. Flights are either early morning and early evening when the winds are most suitable for ballooning. The flight is about an hour but you will need to leave about 3-4 hours due to setting up the balloon, the flight, then packing away and return to the launch site. Bailey Balloons have run balloon flights for over 20 years and it is a family company run Jo and Clive Bailey. Clive is a director of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta and has flown many celebrities including Ant and Dec and Jamie Oliver. He has received an award from HRH the Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace for his services to Aviation. Clive and Jo look forward to sharing their passion for ballooning with you!
