Good to know
- You must provide your hotel details at time of booking, failure to do so may result in cancellation
- Child rate is priced for children lower than 100cm tall. If Over 100cm, please pay the adult rates.
- Timings at each part of the tour may be changed at the discretion of the guide and the group
- 300baht is payable by all guests on the train which will include a guaranteed seat. This can be paid at the train station in cash to the guide.
- This tour can be taken shared with other passengers OR private with own vehicle and guide
- River Kwai is approx 130km from Bangkok with a stop on the way time permitting.
- Tour includes hotel pick up / drop off and is available from most central Bangkok hotels. This Option can be amended and/or cancelled. You will be able to arrange pick up from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation. Hotel pick up may be 30-60 minutes prior to tour Start time/Departure time (depending on hotel location).

Good tour, poor transport
The actual tour at destination Ok, guide good, but let down with very poor quality minibus. As I was last pickup, I had back seat; very rough ride as rear suspension banged and clunked over every small bump, even on freeway. Aircond almost non existent at rear, unless it was raining(??). At freeway speeds, very loud rear axle high pitch noise (headache)
Enjoyable day tour
Good day tour. Very moving visit to the war cemetery, a walk across the bridge over the River Kwai and a scenic train journey along part of the ‘death railway’ were highlights. Everything went smoothly. Oom, our guide, was very knowledgeable. Lunch was good. Traffic back to our hotel was horrendous but the driver did his best cheerfully. Would recommend this tour.
Memorable experience for Bridge over the River Kwai
Pick up from our hotel was prompt. Guide, Oom, was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. We had plenty of time to visit the memorial, the museum and take the train. We paid an additional fee to have guaranteed seats for the 90min journey which was worth it. It was a long day but so pleased we did it.
A must do ....
A must do . Well organized tour. A insight to the horrors of war. And the conditions of soldiers and civilians endured. Driver and guide were excellent.
Wonderful experience
We have travelled many times and this tour was one of the best we have ever done. Our guide Rach was excellent with so much knowledge, easy to understand and we can’t rate him high enough. Our driver was also excellent
