Make your way to the Boston’s conveniently located Central Wharf, where you’ll use your prepaid tour voucher to board a high-speed catamaran. The state-of-the-art boat allows you to access the sanctuary in just a half a day (slower boats take a full day).

Find a comfortable seat on one of three outdoor decks or inside the climate-controlled cabin. As you ride, scan the Massachusetts Bay for signs of marine life. Possible sightings include humpback whales, fin whales, minke whales, pilot whales, and Atlantic white-sided dolphins. A naturalist guide teaches you about the animals’ biology and behavior.

Pack light for the tour, as you can purchase food and beverages from an onboard snack bar. After your tour, head back to shore.
