Summary
Meet a vehicle at your Istanbul hotel and make your way to the Kasimpasa port for a Bosphorus cruise. After boarding, find a seat on the deck for a good view of the historic peninsula. Spot the Galata Tower in the Galata district as you cruise into the Bosphorus Strait, hearing about the city from your guide along the way.
Snap pictures of the Bosphorus Bridge and pass by the ornate Dolmabahce Palace. After disembarking on the Asian shore, you’ll visit Kucuksu Palace, a grand late-Ottoman era mansion. You’ll hear the stories of the sultans who lived in the palace and view the opulent rooms.
If the palace is closed, visit 15th-century Rumeli Hisari Fortress instead.
Return to the boat and cruise down the Bosphorus back to the Golden Horn, where you’ll dock at Eminonu.
