Summary

Meet your guide and group at the private nature reserve, the ancestral homeland of the Taino Indians. This tour gives you access to the river and rain forest in that nature reserve, as well as guided commentary and instruction for all activities. Begin with a hike through the rain forest, during which your guide teaches you about the local flora and the ways in which the Taino people used all the plants. Then go spelunking through deep caves to see unusual rock formations and refuel with a picnic lunch. Then, your guide shows you how to float on your back and body raft, between the towering walls of canyons. Your life vest keeps you afloat; no swimming skills are needed. A short hike through the forest takes you back to your departure point at the nature reserve.
