Bird Watching Tour with Ephesus Visit from Kusadasi
Summary
Lake Gebekirse Waterfowl Protection and Breeding Site is located in an area of one thousand hectares between Ephesus and Pamucak in the north of the ancient city of Ephesus. 30-40 species of birds and mammals live in this area where there are several small ponds and reeds in the marshy part where the Little Meandros flows into the sea on the north of Pamucak coasts. For migratory birds, it is an accommodation and shelter rather than a nesting place.
We may see: Calidris minuta, Calidris canutus, Numenius arquata, Limosa limosa, Tringa totanus, Stork and some more kind of residents.
