Bioluminescence, Sunset & Bonfire Adventure

Highlights

Pick up will be at 4:00 pm from your place in Puerto Escondido. We will be going on a half an hour drive to the lagoon of Manialtepec. When we get to the lagoon we will board a boat to take us around the lagoon and enjoy birdwatching as well as the beautiful landscapes that Nature has to offer us. We will arrive at the Sandbar where we will be getting out kayaks to go around the mangrove laberinth and into the outskirts of the lagoon where most of the exotic birds are found. After spending time in the lagoon we will head up river to enjoy an amazing sunet at the beach. After sunset, we will enjoy a fire at the beach and finally return back to the lagoon to go and see the bioluminesence.

Why take this tour?

We will be kayaking through beautiful channels of mangroves, rivers, ponds and amazing landscapes everywhere we go. At the same time we will be surrounded with many different types of birds making our trip even more incedible! Birds like egrets, pelicans, spoonbills, eagles, storks, king fisherman and many more endemic and migratory birds! After our kayaking trip we will head to the pacific ocean to watch one of the most incredible sunsets in the Pacific Coast. After sunset, we will make a fire at the beach to roast and enjoy delilcious marshmallos! After our snack we will head back to see the bioluminescense in the lagoon!
