Bike ride through picturesque villages

Discover the beautiful areas around Brasov in this 50 kilometers bike tour that goes from Zarnesti, through the villages of Poiana Marului, Holbav and Vulcan. Meet your guide early in the morning, take your bike and pedal to the main railway station of Brasov. Take the train to Zarnesti and start the tour with a short and easy climb on a paved road towards Poiana Marului pass, at 782 meters. This will be the highest point of the day. After a descent through the village of Poiana Marului, if you want, we can stop for a coffee at a local restaurant. Continue the ride and after a few kilometers, turn right on a gravel road that will take you to the isolated village of Holbav. From here, it's another short climb and then down to Vulcan on paved road. Visit the fortified church (if possible), then continue to Cristian, where we can go to a local restaurant for lunch / grilled chicken. Head back to Brasov and end this fantastic day relaxing and drinking a cold beer with your guide
