Start your day's adventure with pickup from your Kohala or Kona hotel in a comfortable tour vehicle, and then head out for the farther reaches of the Big Island. Wind down the Hamakua Coast toward Akaka Falls and Rainbow Falls, two of the area's most beautiful. Then, continue on to Punalu'u Beach for a stroll along the black-sand beach, before headinmg to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. On the way back to Kona, pass Kealakekua Bay and learn about the area's bloody battle history.
